The Task Force works
in cooperation with the Housing Commission. Since its formation, the Task Force met on a
number of occasions and recently approved project goals that outline the scope of the project.
The goals include reviewing the potential for redeveloping both Kottinger Place and Pleasanton
Gardens with a new development capable of providing fully accessible, energy efficient senior
housing for independent seniors who, to a large extent, will age in place. The project would add
up to 100 units to the 90 units currently at the two developments and will attempt to retain
current rent levels with coordinated property management services.

SR:06:178
Page 1
