<br />Resolution No. 06-04] <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Section 4: The City Council hereby adopts the procedures set forth in California Elections <br />Code section 9285 regarding submission of rebuttal arguments. <br /> <br />Section 5: The City Council hereby establishes Friday, June 23,2006 and Monday, July 3, <br />2006, respectfully, as the deadlines for submission of direct arguments and <br />rebuttal arguments for the initiative measure. These arguments must be submitted <br />to the City Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on the respective deadline dates. <br /> <br />Section 6: The City Clerk is directed to transmit the initiative measure to the City Attorney to <br />prepare an impartial analysis of the measure by Friday, June 23, 2006. <br /> <br />Section 7: The City Council requests that the Alameda County Board of Supervisors order <br />that this election be conducted by the Alameda County Registrar's Office on <br />November 7,2006, in conjunction with the statewide General Election on that <br />date, with the actual costs for said election to be reimbursed by the City to the <br />County. <br /> <br />Section 8: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND REGULARLY <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING <br />HELD ON JUNE 6, 2006 BY THE FOLLOWING YOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brozosky, McGovern, Sullivan, Thome and Mayor Hosterman <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />APPROYED AS TO FORM: <br />~/1/!(wOd ~ <br /> <br />Michael H.
