In Alternative', the ACE Train Station remains in its current offsite location, but the plan calls for enhancement of pedestrian access between the Bernal Property and the station, as well as shared use of the parking at the Cultural Arts Center. In Alternative 2, the ACE Train Station would be on the site in sub-area 2. b See Table 1 (p. 9) for the list of potentially permitted uses in each sub-area and Appendix B for more extensive descriptions of each use. c These uses are theoretically possible in a number of sub-areas because the Phase I site plan was not prescriptive with respect to uses or locations for Phase II: decisions were to be made during the Phase II planning process. d Sub-area 5 was initially targeted for child care because of its proximity to Central Area residential use, but child care could also be provided in sub-area 6 under the project and Alternative 1. e See Figure 5, Illustrative Site Plan, for the type of open space use(s) associated with each sub-area.
