e) All new homes located above elevation 540 feet shall be provided with an elevated on-site water <br /> storage tank (minimum 1,000-gallon capacity), subject to approval by the Fire marshall, to <br /> ensure adequate water pressure for domestic use, automatic fire sprinklers, and othe approved <br /> fire systems. <br /> <br />SIGNIFICANT EFFECT <br /> <br />Impact 4.8-1c Provision of Fire How. The Plan Area would be served by existing water conveyance <br /> infrastructure with additional distribution lines, pumps and water storage facilities. Adequate <br /> water supply is proposed to meet fire flow requirements for the Plan Area. However, 5 existing <br /> and 7 proposed residential structures above elevation 540 feet may not be able to meet required <br /> fire flow pressure requirements.
