Resolution No. 99-048 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that relocation of the new pipeline will cause additional construction <br /> impacts to the Stoneridge Mall area; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Directs the Pleasanton Representatives to the LAVWMA Board to inform the <br /> LAVWMA Board that the Pleasanton City Council is in support of the Hybrid <br /> Pipeline Alternative through Castro Valley, San Leandro and the Roberts Landing <br /> area and the alternatives for the new pipeline around the Stoneridge Mall area in <br /> Pleasanton, and that environmental work on these alternatives should proceed as <br /> quickly as possible. <br /> <br />Section 2: Directs the Pleasanton representatives to the LAVWMA Board to request that <br /> LAVWMA investigate the possibility of a combined single pipeline through <br /> Pleasanton in the Stoneridge Mall area. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON APRIL 20, 1999 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, and Pico <br />NOES: Vice Mayor Ayala <br />ABSENT: Mayor Tarver <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> PeggyaL.c/E~dYo, Ci~ Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
