CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99-057 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ANNEX AND <br /> ORDERING OF AN ELECTION FOR THE ANNEXATION <br /> OF THE OAK TREE FARM PHASE II (TRACT 6748), A 16 <br /> LOT SUBDIVISION, TO THE EXISTING OAK TREE FARM <br /> LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1994-1, <br /> WHICH ENCOMPASSES OAK TREE FARM PHASE I <br /> (TRACT 6563), A 23 LOT SUBDIVISION AND SETTING A <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 5, 1992, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1555, which approved <br /> the Oak Tree Farm development plan for homes and open space on a site located <br /> west of Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a condition of approval for the project, the City Council required that the <br /> landscaping, open space, and street lights be maintained by a Landscape and <br /> Lighting District, financed by property owners within the development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Oak Tree Farm has been developed in phases, and Landscape and Lighting District <br /> No. 1994-1, was established for Phase I (Tract 6563), a 23 lot single-family <br /> residential subdivision pursuant to City Council Resolution No. 94-110; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by annexing Oak Tree Farm Phase II (Tract 6748), a 16 lot single-family <br /> residential subdivision, to the existing Oak Tree Farm Landscape and Lighting <br /> District, savings will result for all the property owners based on economies of <br /> scale, as set forth in the assessment engineers report. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Declares its intention to annex Oak Tree Farm Phase II (Tract 6748) to the existing <br /> Oak Tree Farm Landscape and Lighting District, No. 1994-1, and to levy <br /> assessments upon the lots within Oak Tree Farm Phase II. <br /> <br /> <br />
