Youth/community center <br /> <br />Due to the extensive traffic circulation improvements that were constructed in conjunction with <br />Phase I development, a relatively limited extent of streets, will be necessary to accommodate <br />Phase II development. Phase II improvements include a new collector street connecting <br />Pleasanton Avenue at Bernal A venue south to Valley A venue, traffic roundabouts and <br />pedestrian safety medians, bus stops, trails and staging areas, and a potential park-and-ride <br />commuter parking lot. <br /> <br />Summary of Specific Plan Issues <br /> <br />Thus far, the primary Specific Plan issues raised through the City commission review process <br />have been framed by staff into the following questions: <br />1. Add tennis courts to the Illustrative Site Plan (and possibly to the Park Master Plan)? <br />2. Add an indoor swimming pool to the Illustrative Site Plan? <br />3. Add a dog park to the Illustrative Site Plan (and possibly to the Park Master Plan)? <br />4. Allow equestrian trails to be developed within the Phase II Specific Plan Area west ofI- <br />680? <br />5.
