He also <br />advised that landscaping on the westerly side of Hopyard in this area is planned. <br /> <br />Mr. Bocian provided an explanation to Commissioner McGuirk's questions related to the <br />reporting of reduction of construction related fees in the graph depicting CIP revenues. <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner Michelotti's question regarding funding for the maintenance of <br />the Senior Center, Mr. Bocian advised that this is being accomplished with pan-time <br />employees and existing crews and resources. <br /> <br />Chairman Hovingh recommended that the Valley Trails Park completion be a high priority <br />project. Mr. Bocian advised that it is, but that it was not reflected in the report. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. <br /> <br />There was no public testimony. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commi-~sioner Mahern, seconded by Chairman Hovingh, f'mding <br />that the Draft Capital Improvement Program, as a whole and as individual projects is <br />consistent with the General Plan. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Mahern, McGuirk, Michelotti, Wright and Chairman Hovingh <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-93-36 was entered and adopted rmding that the Draft Capital <br />Improvement Program as a whole and as individual projects is consistent with the <br />General Plan. <br /> <br />Chairman Hovingh expressed concern with the Downtown beauti~cation improvements being <br />funded with General Fund money. He stated that he felt it would be more appropriate :o use <br />private funds.
