Begin design and construction planning for the proposed Fire Station #5 to service <br /> the Ruby Hills area ($500,000) estimated (pg. 19), and purchase land for a future <br /> Fire Station #4 ($238,000) (pg. 20). The Ruby Hills project will be funded with <br /> developer contributions. <br /> <br /> · Provide $2,700,000 to complete the City's contribution to the Harvest Park <br /> Gymnasium. The facility which has been previously committed to, will include <br /> City rest rooms, change area, storage and an office. A 50-car parking lot is also <br /> included as part of this project. Construction is currently underway (pg. 21). <br /> <br /> · Provide $25,000 to identify appropriate computer hardware/software design to <br /> install a new land-use permit issuance system. The City's goal is to acquire a <br /> system capable of integrating all land based information (pg. 18). <br /> <br /> · Provide $2,786,970 to cover lease payments for existing City facilities including the <br /> Sycamore Reservoir (Water), Operations Service Center (Water, Sewer and <br /> Miscellaneous), Crosstown Sewer Project (Sewer), the Police building, 123 Main Street, <br /> and the Senior Center (various pages). These projects will occur on an annual basis until <br /> the debt service is paid off. <br /> <br />WATER <br /> <br /> · Provide $100,000 to conduct a corrosion control study of City water lines to <br /> identify the most appropriate and efficient methods available (pg. 32). <br /> <br /> · Provide $219,000 to replace water mains (pg. 28). <br /> <br />SEWER <br /> <br /> · Provide repairs necessary to fully implement the Crosstown Sewer ($125,000) <br /> (pg. <br /> <br /> · Provide $238,700 for sewer line replacement and improvements (pg. 42). <br /> <br /> ix <br /> <br /> <br />
