<br />Monthly staff meetings are held and include all paratransit staff (dispatchers, drivers, and
<br />office assistant). As part of these meetings, on-going training opportunities are scheduled.
<br />Training topics include: review of daily inspection procedures, CPR and I st Aid certification,
<br />review of the City of Pleasant on Senior Scholarship Program, review of wheelchair tie down
<br />procedures, proper body mechanics, communication skills, and defensive driving skills.
<br />
<br />On-going outside service agency staff, such as Senior Support Programs of the Tri-Valley
<br />and Spectrum Home Delivered/Congregate Meals Program, also provide updates on services
<br />available to the clients.
