Public Meetings and Dates: <br /> <br />· Pleasanton Senior Program Advisory Committee regularly reviews the PPS quarterly <br />reports and provides input ou the program. <br />. March 24, 2006 - PPS Task Force reviewed the current FY 2005-06 plan and <br />provided feedback for the FY 2006-07 plan. <br />· April 18, 2006 - PPS Plan will be reviewed by the Pleasanton City Council. <br />· On-going joint meetings with LA VT A bave included reviews of the plan. <br /> <br />B. Has this plan been reviewed by a local paratransit advisory group? <br /> <br />~ Yes-> <br />D No <br /> <br />Committee Name: Pleasanton Paratransit Task Force <br />Meeting Date: 3/24/2006 <br /> <br />Narrative Responses for C and D above: <br /> <br />As part of the annual planning process, PPS users complete a program/service evaluation, <br />Over 900 surveys were sent out to riders on March 1,2006, with a completion date of March <br />31, 2006. A summary of the findings will be included in the ACTIA end of year report. <br />Anyone completing this survey will receive a free paratransit ride. <br /> <br />Staff worked with PPS Task Force in June 2005 to identify two (2) measureable outcomes <br />for FY 2005-06. The committee identified the following outcomes: <br /> <br />Outcome I <br />Increased exposure to all types of transit services available to the senior community. <br />Tasks to include: <br />· Provide joint travel training opportunites with LA VT A. <br />· Development of a transit fair to provide information on a variety of transit options. <br />· Set-up a local Channel 30 interview highlighting transit opportunities. <br /> <br />Outcome II <br />Encourage paratransit riders to use services during non-peak travel times. <br />Tasks to include: <br />· Develop a client letter which clarifies non peak travel times, as well as call times for <br />reservations. <br />· Develop a letter for medical providers explaining how PPS works and provide tips on <br />improved coordination. <br /> <br />C:\Documents and Settings\pamd\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK3\2006-Q7 annual application.doc <br />Page 9 of 19 <br />
