<br />ATTACHMENT 7 <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />OF THE <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />September 6, 2005 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Hosterman called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at 6:40 <br /> <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The Deputy City Clerk called the roll as follows: Councilmembers present were: <br />Steve Brozosky, Cindy McGovern, Matthew Sullivan, Jerry Thorne, and Mayor Jennifer <br />Hosterman. Staff members present were: Nelson Fialho, City Manager, Michael <br />Roush, City Attorney, and James W. Wolfe, Director of Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky acknowledged the fundraising efforts that have been undertaken by <br />the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Foundation. <br /> <br />It was moved by Mr. Brozosky, seconded by Mr. Thorne, to direct staff to <br />come back within two months with a conceptual financing plan and schedule of <br />strategic milestones for the project. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brozosky, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, and <br />Mayor Hosterman <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Ms. Hosterman said she was thrilled with this project and thanked Mr. Resnick <br />and his group for their efforts on this project. <br /> <br />2.
