Staffis seeking the District's feedback <br />on the range of options for future land use. <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council and Board of Trustees: <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />On April 15, 2003, the City Council directed staff to begin preparation of a comprehensive <br />update of the City's 1996 General Plan. Staff previously reported to the District on the <br />General Plan Update in March 2005. At that time, the City Council was meeting in Joint <br />Workshops with the Planning Commission and discussing matters related to a preferred <br />traffic circulation network.
