CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 93-48 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1993 WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PROCEED WITH ABATEMENT OF WEEDS, RUBBISH OR REFUSE UPON OR IN FRONT OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTIES WITHINTHE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHICH CONSTITUTE PUBLIC NUISANCES WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 6, 1993, Council adopted Resolution No. 93-40 declaring as a public nuisance all weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton as more particularly set forth in Exhibit "A", attached thereto; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 93-40 was adopted pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Sections 39501-39588; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 93-40 designated April 20, 1993, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., at the Pleasanton City Council Chambers, as the time, date and place to hear and consider objections to the abatement and removal of weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton more particularly set forth in Exhibit "A" to Resolution No. 93-40; and WHEREAS, the Fire Inspector was charged with the responsibility to perform the duties imposed by Government Code Sections 39560-39588, and he did prepare notices to destroy weeds and remove rubbish and refuse, and did in the time and manner prescribed by law cause copies of the notice to be conspicuously posted on or in front of the property where the nuisance exists; the City did mail written notice of the proposed abatement to all persons owning property described in Resolution No. 93-40 in the time, form and manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council did hold a public hearing on April 20, 1993, and no one appeared to raise objections; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
