Resolution No. 95-115 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> (1) The commission's formal role and relationship to the City <br /> Council, <br /> <br /> (2) The commission's meeting procedures and typical interactions <br /> with staff and Council, <br /> <br /> (3) The Brown Act, <br /> <br /> (4) Technical aspects of the commission's jurisdiction, such as the <br /> types of issues that will be faced, and <br /> <br /> (5) Key issues or projects that the commission is or will be <br /> considering. <br /> <br /> C. A tour of City Hall and relevant city facilities, introductions to other <br /> key staff members, and signing of the Loyalty Oath. <br /> <br /> D. An opportunity to be introduced to the other members of the <br /> commission, either as a group or individually. <br /> <br /> E. The holding of periodic Commissioner Forums, open to all <br /> commissioners, to disseminate information and provide training <br /> opportunities, in order to enhance the knowledge and skill of all <br /> commissioners. <br /> <br />Section 3: At the conclusion of his/her service on a commission, the City Council may <br /> recognize the outgoing commissioner at a City Council meeting for the <br /> commissioner's service to the community. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
