Resolution No. 96-109 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Transportation, has <br /> requested that the above-referenced Agreements be superseded to reflect the <br /> revised plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the revisions as shown on the plan map on file with the Engineering <br /> Department has been reviewed and approved by the Director of Public <br /> Works of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is willing to enter into this revised Freeway Agreement but <br /> only upon CalTrans' agreement that when the 1-580/I-680 interchange is <br /> modified, CalTrans will make every effort to maintain access between 1-580 <br /> and the Stoneridge Drive Interchange. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the attached Freeway Agreement that <br /> supersedes the August 4, 1992 and May 17, 1988 Freeway Agreements <br /> referenced above, subject to the attached Agreement including the <br /> following: <br /> <br /> "It is understood between the parties that when the 1-580/I-680 interchange <br /> pattern is modified, the maintenance of access to Stoneridge Drive may <br /> prove difficult due to safety and operational constraints. Nonetheless, <br /> CalTrans will make every effort to maintain access between 1-580 and the <br /> Stoneridge Drive Interchange." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 24, 1996 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
