CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-111 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF <br /> CITIZEN' S OPTION FOR PUBLIC SAFETY <br /> PROGRAM FUNDS AS RECOMMENDED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 24, 1996, the Chief of Police presented a report <br /> (SR 96:279) describing the recommendations for use of Citizen's Option for <br /> Public Safety (COPS) funds received from the State, as outlined in section <br /> 30061 of the Government Code and in accordance with AB 3229. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby approves the recommendations for expenditures <br /> of COPS funds which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 24, 1996 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Peggy~g.~d;o, City{/Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
