I <br />Resolution No. 96-87 <br />Page Three <br />WHEREAS, the City provided proper public notice of completion of the Final Environmental <br /> Impact Report for the proposed General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton considered the Final Environmental <br /> Impact Report on July 1, 2, 9, 15, 16, and 25, and on August 6, 1996; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: The City Council finds, after having reviewed and considered the material in the <br /> Final Environmental Impact Report, that the Final Environmental Impact Report <br /> is complete, sufficient, and acceptable for the 1996 General Plan update. <br />Section 2: The City Council further finds that the Final Environmental Impact Report for the <br /> 1996 General Plan update has been completed in compliance with the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act, and State and City CEQA Guidelines. <br />Section 3: The City Council certifies the Final Environmental Impact Report for the 1996 <br /> General Plan update, with the changes set forth in Exhibit 3. <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 6, 1996 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Council members - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> G!:T~~) <br /> peg~ ro, City lerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: ~ <br />7A0&ad~ ~wL_ <br />Michael H.
