Resolution No. 96-52 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Except as provided in Section 2, the Fire Inspector is ordered to abate the <br /> nuisance declared by Resolution No. 96-38 by having the weeds, rubbish, <br /> and refuse removed and for this purpose, the Fire Inspector may enter upon <br /> private property to abate the nuisance. Before the Fire Inspector arrives, <br /> any property owner may remove the weeds, rubbish or refuse at their own <br /> expense. <br /> <br />Section 2: As to the property owned by Michael Goodwin, 1630 Vineyard Avenue, <br /> that property is excluded from the list of properties to be abated pending <br /> further review; if, after review, it is determined that the property should be <br /> included, then the provisions of the rest of this resolution shall apply. <br /> <br />Section 3: The Fire Inspector or the contractor awarded the work by the City for <br /> removal of weeds, rubbish or refuse as the case may be, shall keep an <br /> account of the cost of abatement in front of or on each separate parcel of <br /> land where the work is done and shall submit to the City Council for <br /> consideration, heating or objections, modification and confu-mation, an <br /> itemized written report showing the cost, all as more particularly described <br /> by Government Code Section 39574. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON MAY 21, 1996 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
