Incentive pay they received on top of their base pay is eliminated permanently, including any new <br />inspectors employed by the JPA in the future. <br /> <br />All Fire Inspectors - current or future, will meet the educational requirements of the Career Development <br />Plan to attain "E" step Fire Inspector compensation. The final time schedule will depend on the <br />availability of any necessary regional training classes. Any such required classes will have course and <br />travel fees paid by the Department. Attendance will be allowed as part of normal work hours. <br /> <br />5.10 Cumulative Incentive Allowance Limitation <br /> <br />There will be a cap of 12.5% for all incentive allowance categories over and above base salary. This <br />includes but is not limited to: acting pay, paramedic pay, hazardous materials team pay, educational <br />incentive pay, and EMT pay. This cap applies for all hours worked in a pay period, a month or annually. <br /> <br />Section 6. Hours of Work, Shift & Station Assignments <br /> <br />6.1 Work Schedules <br /> <br />The regular workweek for non-shift employees shall consist of forty (40) hours. Such hours are flexibly <br />scheduled. The regular workweek for employees in the classification of Firefighter, Fire Engineer, and <br />Fire Captain shall be an average fifty-six (56) hours. The work schedule shall consist of nine (9) twenty- <br />four (24) hour on-duty periods within a twenty-seven (27) day cycle to be worked in accordance with the <br />following chart: <br /> <br /> X = 24 hour on-duty period <br /> O = 24 hour off-duty period <br /> XOXOXOOOOXOXOXOOOOXOXOXOOOO <br /> <br />These schedules shall provide, however, that the Fire Chief may from time to time assign personnel to <br />other than their regular duty periods or schedules for temporary periods of time. <br /> <br />The parties have agreed to the 27-day FLSA duty cycle as currently administered by Pleasanton. <br /> <br />6.1.1 Work Schedule for Fire Prevention Personnel <br /> <br />The normal work schedule for Local 1974 represented fire prevention positions is a Monday through <br />Friday, 40 hour work week consisting of five consecutive eight hour days or 80 hours in a pay period. <br />This is the same basic schedule used by the partner cities for normal office hour positions. The City <br />payroll departments will determine the "work period" to be used under FLSA. Holidays will be per the <br />holiday schedule elsewhere in the MOU. <br /> <br /> <br />
