Resolution No. 98-140 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a workshop in March of 1998 to review the information <br /> gathered by staff regarding the Lower Income Housing Fee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 16, 1998, the Affordable Housing Commission held a public hearing and <br /> made a recommendation to the City Council regarding the Lower Income Housing <br /> Fee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Lower Income Housing Fee Technical Report was presented to the City's <br /> Planning Commission on May 13, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, informational workshops regarding the Lower Income Housing Fee, and other <br /> development fees, have also been provided to the community, the Chamber of <br /> Commerce, and the Downtown Associationi and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a noticed public hearing on .October 20, 1998 to consider the <br /> proposed increase to the Lower Income Housing Fee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered the staff report, and all oral and <br /> written testimony. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council adopts the Findings in Support of the Increase to the Lower <br /> Income Housing Fee, as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council amends the Master Fee Schedule regarding the Lower Income <br /> Housing Fee as follows: <br /> <br /> Lower Income Housing Fee per unit: <br /> <br /> Single family detached $2,756.00 <br /> Single family attached $2,756.00 <br /> (2 or less units) <br /> Multi-family $919.00 <br /> (3 or more units) <br /> <br /> <br />
