Requirements for Approved Groups A. Requirements for Qualification 1. Groups receiving this designation must conduct program(s) which are of an indirect recreation purpose or be of some other highly significant community value. 2. Must make a detailed application to the Director of Parks and Community Services sixty (60) days in advance of such programs. 3. Group membership must be comprised of at least 75% Pleasanton residents. 4. Approved groups requesting use of the City facilities at reduced or no cost may be requested by the Director of Parks and Community Services to provide a budget for the proposed activity. 5. Comply with the insurance requirements referred to in I.F. 6. When utilizing City facilities, litter and trash must be removed from the site after each use. The City reserves the fight to charge groups the cost of clean up, if necessary, due to noncompliance. B. Examples and Description of Approved Groups Fraternal, social service and service organizations using City recreation and park facilities to conduct special community programs considered of benefit to the community (Example: Art Show, Rotary Corn Roast, Health Faire).
