Description of Cosponsored Groups <br /> <br /> Groups providing recreation programs that satisfy a broad need in one or more <br /> activity areas, and a significant number of persons within the community. <br /> <br /> Higher emphasis will be placed upon programs which satisfy a broad recreation <br /> need, assisting the City in the development of a well-balanced recreation program. <br /> These groups include Little League, Soccer Associations, Pleasanton <br /> Playhouse, etc. <br /> <br /> C. Department Responsibilities and Services <br /> <br /> 1. The City will make recreational and park facilities available for <br /> organizations without cost or at the lowest cost feasible. <br /> <br /> *2. Use of certain equipment and materials. <br /> <br /> *3. Staff services on a limited basis. <br /> <br /> *Charges for such services at the discretion of the City Council, after <br /> review and recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />IV. Requirements for Sanctioned Status <br /> <br /> A. Requirements for Qualifications <br /> <br /> 1. Provides a worthwhile recreation activity for a special interest group <br /> but does not reach as wide a segment of the community as cosponsored <br /> programs. <br /> <br /> 2. File with the Director of Parks and Community Services a current copy <br /> of bylaws and/or constitution. <br /> <br /> 3. Comply with all operational policies, regulations, and rules of the <br /> Department of Parks and Community Services for facilities utilized. <br /> <br /> 4. Submit an annual enrollment report to the Parks and Community Services <br /> Department. <br /> <br /> <br />
