CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-121 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> FOR THE APPLICATION OF CHEVRON PRODUCTS <br /> COMPANY, INC., AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-97-14 AND <br /> UP-97-70 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 18, 1998, the City Council received a proposed negative <br /> declaration for the application of Chevron Products Company, Inc. for Planne~t <br /> Unit Development rezoning, development plan approval, and a conditional use <br /> permit to allow the operation of a 24-hour self-service gasoline station and <br /> convenience store with the sale of alcoholic beverages located at 1797 Santa Rita <br /> Road (the southwest comer of Valley Avenue and Santa Road); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study dated July 29, 1998, and <br /> received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br /> opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br /> applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for <br /> adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I <br /> <br /> <br />
