5. No more than two officers assigned to the Investigation/Services Division will be allowed <br />annual vacation during the same time period. <br />6. After the patrol lieutenants' annual vacation has been approved, patrol sergeants may bid <br />for annual vacation. No more than two patrol lieutenants and/or sergeants will be granted <br />annual vacation during the same time period. <br />7. Two patrol officers from each watch may schedule annual vacation at any time with the <br />following two exceptions: <br />A. Only one officer from each watch will be allowed to schedule annual vacation <br />during the two week period of the Alameda County Fair. <br />B. Only one oi~icer from each watch will be allowed to schedule annual vacation on <br />~, the days falling between Thanksgiving and January 2nd. <br />Requests in addition to annual vacation sign-up may be approved at the discretion of the <br />affected watch commander and Division Commander. <br />Effective January 1, 2001 <br />In order to address staffing needs of the 4/10 work schedule, the following modifications to the <br />annual vacation sign-up shall take affect January 1, 2001. <br />1. After the patrol lieutenants' annual vacation has been approved, patrol sergeants may bid <br />for annual vacation. Only one patrol lieutenant or sergeant shall be scheduled for annual <br />vacation at any time. <br />2 <br />
