3 NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 4 1. LA~N/MA Discharge into EBDA system. - <br /> <br /> 5. 1.1 Subject to the limitations ~et forth in this Agreement, LAVWMA'shall have .- <br /> <br />6 the right to discharge a total of 41.2 MGD PWWF into the system, which consists of firm <br />7 capacity of 19.72 MGD and 21.48 MGD interruptible capacity. This Agreement authorizes <br />8 an additional 20.2 MGD of interruptible capacity, in addition to the firm capacity of 19.72 <br />9 MGD and interruptible capacity of 1.28 MGD provided in the existing agreements. <br />10 1.2 "lnterruptible flow basis" means that all LAVWMA instantaneous flow rates <br />11 exceeding 19.72 MGD are restricted to the difference between the EBDA pipeline's <br />12 maximum ~ capacity of 189.1 MGD and the actual total combined instantaneous <br />13 flow from all EBDA Member Agendes plus LAVWMA's firm capacity of 19.72 MGD of <br />14 instantaneous rate of flow. This additional flow is the interruptible capacity. The <br />15 interruptible capacity is vadable and dynamic as the actual flow rates change <br />16 continuously throughout any given hour, day and season.
