Public Education and Review Duty.
- While the GRAD does not have direct responsibility to maintain individual Lots, any hazardous
or potentially hazardous conditions viewed by GRAD staff which are confined to a single Lot
- should be passed onto the appropriate governmental authority.
~- It is not expected that GHAD funds will be used to review house additions, swimming pools, or
Lot retaining walls; however, CC&Rs can dictate that the GRAD be consulted on these
modifications because they may tend to destabilize the ground. Those homeowners requesting
Lot improvement plan review from the GHAD shall pay a reasonable fee set by the GHAD
_ Board of Directors.
- The GHAD is charged with providing the following guidelines and public information to
homeowners:
1. No excavation, drilling, trenching, or other earth moving activities, such as those
related to installation of retaining walls, swimming pools or other underground
structures, are to be constructed without obtaining appropriate City and/or County
permits.
- 4291-W2
July 17, 1997
Revised October 9, 1997
_ Revised October 22, 1997 16
