<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-123 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF <br />CITIZENS' OPTION FOR PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAM <br />FUNDS AS RECOMMENDED <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 7, 1997, the Chief of Police presented a report <br />(SR 97:291) describing the recommendations for use of Citizens' option for Public <br />Safety (COPS) funds received from the State, as outlined in Section 30061 of the <br />Government Code and in accordance with AB 1584. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section l: The City Council hereby approves the recommendations for expenditures of COPS <br />funds which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 7, 1997 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers -Ayala, Dennis, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Michelotti <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: <br />Peggy z' o, Ci Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Michael H.
