A.D., 1914; <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />BY AND BETWEEN <br /> <br />THE TOWN OF PLLAS~h'TON, a municipal corporation, of the County <br /> <br />of Alameda, State of California, the party of the first part, <br /> <br /> f, <br /> <br />THE ~.~r,'O~f~NfS I~iPROVt~MENT CLUB, a corporation, with its principal <br /> <br />place of business in the town of Pleas~nton, County of Alameda, <br /> <br />State of California, the party of the second part, and herein- <br /> <br />after called the lessee; <br /> <br />W I TNE S SET H: <br /> <br />That for and in consideration of the delivery <br /> <br />bY the said party of the second part herein to the said party <br />the first part of a grant, bargain and sale deed in and to the <br /> <br />real property hereinafter descri~-~d, and as part of the con- <br /> <br />sideration of the purchase price of said real property the said <br />TOwn ~ of Pl~a§afibo~.'~s ?~i~th~§~ ~p~S en~s i..'~e~ ~fid' demise unto <br /> <br />the said party of the second part thcse certain rooms hereinafter <br /> <br />more particularly described, and to be erected and constructed <br /> <br />in the new town hall now in the course of erection and con- <br /> <br />struCtion by C. A. Bruce, contractor, on those certain premises <br /> <br />being the same premises deeded by the Women's Improvement Club <br />to the Town of Pleas anton, and more particularly described as <br /> <br />follows, to-wit:- <br /> <br /> All that certain, lot, piece or parcel of l~.d situate <br />in the town of Pleasanton, County ~f Alameda, State of <br />California, and bounded and particularly described as <br />follows, to-wit; <br /> Lot No. eight (8) and the fractional southern portion <br />of lot No. nine (9) lying south of a line extended a <br />distance of One Hundred ~100) feet in a straight line <br />across said lot No. nine (~) from the southwesterly <br />corner of lot No. seven (7) to the southeasterly corner <br />of lot No. six (6), all in Block "J" according to the <br />Map entitled "Map of the town of Pleasanton, Alameda <br />County, California, 1869" surveyed for John W. Kottinser, <br />by Chas. Duerr, filed September 20th, 1869, in the office <br />of the County Recorder of said Alameda County. <br /> <br /> <br />
