CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97-100 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST BY THE <br /> PEGASUS GROUP FOR A REDUCTION IN THE <br /> LOWER INCOME HOUSING FEE FOR AN <br /> APPROVED STORAGE FACILITY AT STANLEY <br /> BOULEVARD AND VALLEY AVENUE (PUD-97-6) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Pegasus Group received approval on July 1, 1997, to construct a 72,000 <br /> square foot self-storage facility to be located at Stanley Boulevard and <br /> Valley Avenue (PUD-97-6); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction in the City's Lower Income <br /> Housing Fee from approximately $32,500 to approximately $8,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Municipal Code Section 17.40.050 states that the City Council may <br /> reduce the required fee for a commercial, office, or industrial development <br /> project if it can be determined that the use will generate fewer workers than <br /> typical C/O/I uses and that the building design could not accommodate <br /> other use types without substantial renovation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approved self-storage facility meets the criteria stated in Section <br /> 17.40.050 oft he Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the self-storage facility will pay all other appropriate City fees as required <br /> for the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 5, 1997, the City Council reviewed the report of <br /> the Housing Division (SR 97:231) regarding the request by the Pegasus <br /> Group for a reduction in the Lower Income Housing Fee for the self-storage <br /> facility project (PUD-97-6); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
