Whenever any motor vehicle is towing <br /> another motor vehicle, stoplamps and turn <br /> signal lamps are not required on the towed <br /> motor vehicle, but only if a stoplamp and <br /> turn signal lamp on each side of the rear <br /> of the towing vehicle is plainly visible <br /> to the rear of the towed vehicle. This <br /> subdivision shall not apply to driveaway- <br /> towaway operations." <br /> <br />12. U~ilitv Flood Liahts (25110). Tow trucks used to <br /> tow disabled vehicles shall be equipped with <br /> flashing amber warning lamps. Tractor-trailer <br /> combinations are exempt from this requirement. Tow <br /> trucks may display flashing amber warning lamps <br /> while providing service to a disabled vehicle. A <br /> flashing amber warning lamp upon a tow truck may be <br /> displayed to the rear when such tow truck is towing <br /> a vehicle and moving at a speed slower than the <br /> normal flow of traffic. <br /> <br /> Note: Vehicles used byautomobile dismantlers to <br /> tow disabled vehicles may be equipped with <br /> flashing amber warning lights. Vehicles <br /> used by service stations or garages to <br /> occasionally render assistance to disabled <br /> vehicles are not tow trucks and are not <br /> permitted to be equipped with flashing <br /> amber warning lamps. <br /> <br />14. US$ Of FlaShinq Amber warDina Light (25268). "(a) <br /> Every vehicle which, if operated during darkness, <br /> would be subject to the provisions of Section 25100, <br /> and every truck tractor irrespective of width, shall <br /> be equipped with at least three red emergency <br /> reflectors. The reflectors need be carriedby only <br /> one vehicle in a combination. All reflectors shall <br /> be maintained in good working condition <br /> <br /> b. When any such vehicle is disabled on the <br /> roadway during darkness, reflectors of the type <br /> specified in subdivision (a) shall be <br /> immediately placed as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. One at the traffic side of the disabled <br /> vehicle, not more than 10 feet to the <br /> front or rear thereof; <br /> <br /> 2.
