The responses comprise Attachment 5 of the staff <br />report- Following the Zoning Administrator's approval of the project and receipt of the <br />responses to his questions from the applicant, Commissioner Blarxlc requested that the conditions <br />may he amended to rrxitigate some of his concerns related to those questions. She noted that the <br />photo sirrxulations show abefore-and-after scenario. "fhe facility met the City's required location <br />standards, stealth techniques, and collocation requirements, as well as all other provisions in the <br />Pleasanton N[unicipal Code (PMC~. The suY~ject site is an appropriate location, based on the <br />requirements of the PMC, and is an appropriate location for the proposed installation, as attested <br />to by the two existing wireless facilities located on the site. He wanted to be sure that any pots nti al deficiencies <br />would be corrected and that the Commission could have evidence of those corrections- I Ie was <br />concerned that the City did not appear to have a mechanism for a del3ciency to be corrected <br />within a specific period of time, he believed 30 days was a reasonable amount of time. He <br />would like larxguage added for the initial certification and for the certification that takes place <br />after three years- He added another paragraph concerning Radio Frequency Interference (RFI), <br />which was a rare phenomenon that did happen. He added that the City had no data collection <br />mechanism for understanding citizen complaints of RFI. <br />Jacqueline Smart, Cingular Wireless, noted that the company agreed with the new conditions <br />added to the staff report. She noted that the applicant will comply with them and will correct any <br />issues that arise as reported by residents. <br />Tn response to an inquiry by Commissioner Roberts regarding the bright, glossy color of the tree, <br />Ms. Smart noted that a matte finish could be used. <br />In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Fox whether the equipment cabinets would be placed <br />on a platform next to the tree, Ms. Smart confirmed that they would not and that they would not <br />be underground.
