THE CITY OF <br />pL-~ ~S~4NTON~ <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br />APPROVED <br />Wednesday, August 24, 2005 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of August 24, 2005, was called to order at 7:04 p_m_ <br />by G'hairperson Maas. <br />1 _ ROLL CALL <br />Staff Members Present. Donna Decker, Principal Planner; Lynn Tracy Nerland, <br />Assistant City Attorney; Phil Grubstick, Assistant Director <br />of Public Works/City Engineer Marion Pavan, Associate <br />Planner; and Cory Emberson, Recording Secretary. <br />Commissioners Present= Commissioners Brian Arkin, Philip Blank, Anne Fox, Trish <br />Maas, Alternate Jennifer Pearce, Mary Roberts. <br />Coi~nmissioncrs Absents None. <br />2_ APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />a. August 10, 2005_ <br />Chairperson Maas advised that the sentence on the t3rst paragraph on page 1 O should be <br />changed to read as follows_ ._.however, ~'-~ - ~--'~' '='~~ she thought that the idea of the <br />City purchasing the property would be an interesting endeavor and that it was irreportaizt <br />to her that Mr. Walsh t~- '-°~'° '° gets the value of his property." <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that on page 11, "No action was taken" was indicated with <br />respect to Item 8.b. She inquired whether the applicant had received sufficient direction <br />from the Commission, given the disparate views expressed.
