Acting Chairperson Arkin noted that the C=ity oi' Livermore requires Fre sprinklers of all <br />construction. <br />`The Commissioners unanimously concurred to agendize the matter for a future <br />Commission meeting_ <br />Mall by Ruby Hill <br />Commissioner Roberts inquired about the proposed mall by Ruby Hill on the corner of <br />Vineyard and Isabel Avenues. <br />Ms. Decker replied that the City has received a preliminary review application for the <br />project. She indicated that there were some concerns because the General Plan zoning <br />for the site is currently Agriculture/Open Space District, with additional language that <br />3.9 acres could be used as Coii~tiiercial if the project were agriculturally related to <br />vineyards, such as a wine center. She noted that the formal application for the mall <br />would require a General Plan amendment. <br />8_ MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S 12EVIEW/ACTION <br />a. Future Planning Calendar <br />Ms_ Decker noted that an item on the August 10, 2005 agenda, PDR-458_ Manle 8~ Dell, <br />for the former Kolln Hardware building on Main Street, would be split into two phases: <br />the first phase would basically be the maintenance aspect, including fixing, stripping, <br />weatherizing, and repai nting_ She stated that for the purpose of expediting the project, <br />this phase could be processed on the staff level and would not necessarily come before <br />the Commission. She added the second phase would be a more extensive project, <br />including the removal of two facades and would come before the Commission for <br />approval . <br />b.
