The luminosity be set as specified under the Lighting Design Standard; and <br />4_ The most energy-efficient lighting that meets the foot-lumen and color intensity <br />requirements be utilized~ <br />Commissioner Arkin seconded the motion- <br />ROLL CALL VOTE= <br />AYES: Commissioners Arkin, Blank, Fox, Maas, and Pearce- <br />NOES: None_ <br />ABSTAIN: None_ <br />RECJUSED= None_ <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Roberts- <br />Resolutions Nos_ PC-2005-30 and PC-2005-31, recommending approval for the Negative <br />Declaration and for the project, respectively, were entered and adopted as motioned- <br />7_ MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Agenda Order <br />Commissioner Blank inquired whether the agenda items could be ordered by the number oi' <br />comments received. by staff- <br />Ms_ Decker advised that typically, the policy has been to have appeals with a large number of <br />interested persons first on the agenda. Because the agenda for the past meetings have been so <br />heavy, staff has endeavored to expedite some of the simpler projects so those in attendance for <br />those projects would not have to wait for several hours for a short hearing- Staff gets the best <br />sense of responses to an item when the public notices go out; if an item draws rnaiiy people, they <br />try to get those items heard earlier in the agenda- <br />Wind Turbine Noise <br />Commissioner Blank would like to agendize a discussion of a potential ordinance regulation of <br />noise from wind tnrbincs that may be erected in the City_ <br />Commissioner Fox commented that she did not know whether an ordinance should be in place <br />when there are no uses- <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES June 22, 2005 Page 19 of 20 <br />
