_- Commissioner Fox requested that the second sentence of the fourth paragraph on page S be <br />modified to read as follows: "She believed it would be up to the City Council and the Ciiv <br />Manager to determine how_ _ __" <br />Commissioner Fox requested that the first sentence of the second full paragraph on page 1 5 be <br />modified to read as follows: `..regulation for large family daycare spacing, not large family to <br />small family daycare spacing" <br />Commissioner Fox requested that the sentence on the third paragraph on page 17 be modified to <br />read as follows: _ _ _ she lived within 300 feet of a Large family daycare home that she did not <br />realize was there" <br />Ms_ Nerland noted that staff received letters regarding the minutes from two persons in <br />attendance at the last meeting who felt that their comments were not included in their entirety or <br />that the minutes did not reflect what occurred at the meeting_ She indicated that it would be up <br />to the Commission to either concur with the comments and agree to change the minutes <br />accordingly or simply note on the minutes that these letters were received without making any <br />changes_ <br />Discussion ensued among the Commissioners regarding the options presented. <br />Chairperson Maas moved to incorporate the comments in the Minutes. <br />The motion failed for lack of a second. <br />Commissioner Arkin moved that the recording secretary review the tapes of the last <br />meeting to verify the comments presented and include whatever is substantiated by the <br />tapes. If chap ges are made then the minutes will be brought back to the Planning <br />Commission for approval. <br />Commissioner Blank seconded the motion. <br />ROLL, CALL VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Arkin, Blanlc, Fox, Maas, and Roberts. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br />RECUSED= None_ <br />ABSENT: None. <br />The minutes were approved as corrected. <br />3_ MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH TS NOT ALREADY <br />ON THE AGENDA. <br />There were none. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES June 8, 2005 Page 2 0£ 15 <br />
