Luminosity of Suns Cotzintissioner Blank requested that the issue of luminosity of signs be agendized for a future Commission meeting. Ms. Decker indicated that staff would look into technical information on the matter and bring back some standard conditions for the Commission's consideration- "Just Tires" Ms_ Decker indicated that Sgt_ Jeff Bretzing, Senior Code Enforcement Officer, paid another visit to "Just Tires" and noted that there were only two signs on the window; the third is on a plexiglass that hangs from the ceiling in the interior of the building- She added that Sgt_ Bretzing extensively reviewed the Municipal Code and determined that there is no provision preventing such a sign age and, therefore, staff cannot require its removal_ Commissioner Arkin expressed concern that other businesses will catch on to this method and inquired if staff could bring this matter back to the Commission as a Code amendment Ms_ Decker replied that future applications can be conditioned to disallow internal signage_ The Commission decided to proceed with the other items of the agenda while waiting For Mr_ Bocian to arrive from the Budget meeting. - 8_ MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION a_ Future Planning Calendar PiJD-32_ Sarich Workshop Ms_ Decker asked the Commissioners if July 13 would be an acceptable meeting date to hold the workshop for Pi_J D-32_ Daniel and Belinda Sarich_ The Commissioners agreed to the scheduled date- Commissioner Blank requested that it be discussed as the first item on the agenda as he will have to leave the meeting early- Ms_ Decker replied that would be possible, so long as there is no General Plan item on the agenda.
