7t was moved be Commissioner Arkin to relay to the City Council that the Commission supports consideration of "Policy X" as described in the staff report and would like to see it as part of the discussion on the Land Use Element of the General Plan Update process; and that if that d1SCUSSlOII does not occur within a six-month period the Commission recommends that the Council discuss "Policy X" outside of the General Plan Update process in order to expedite a decision on it_ Commissioner Blank seconded the motion_ Commissioner Maas indicated that she needed more information on "Policy X" and could not support it at this time; however, she could support the second part of the motion_ She requested that the motion be separated into two_ Commissioners Arpin and Blare-k agreed to the request and separated the motion_ It was moved by Commissioner Arkin to relay to the City Council that the Commission supports consideration of "Policy X" as described in the staff report and would like to see it as part of the discussion on the Land Use Element of the General Plan Update process. Commissioner Fox indicated that she is not in favor of supporting the policies in piecemeal and would life to see them as a whole. It was moved by Commissioner Arkin that if the discussion of "Policy X" as part of the Land Use Element of the General Plan Update process does not occur within a six-month period then the Commission recommends that the Council discuss "Policy X" outside of the General Plan Update process in order to expedite a decision on it_ Commissioner Blank seconded the motion_ ROLL CALL VOTE.
