THE CITY OF <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />PL'~7~St~'N Q"N® MINUTES <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br />APPROVED <br />Wednesday, May 7 7, 2005 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of May 1 1 , 2005, was called to order at 7.04 p.m. by <br />Chairperson Maas. <br />1_ ROLL CALL <br />StatT Members Present: Donna Decker, Principal Planner; Lynn Tracy Nerland, <br />Assistant City Attorney; Wcs Jost, Development Services <br />Manager; and Cory Emberson, Recording Secretary- <br />Commissioners Present: Commissioners Brian Arkin, Philip Blar~k, Anne Fox, Trish <br />Maas and Mary Roberts. <br />Commissioners Absent- None. <br />2_ APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />a. April 27, 2005. <br />Commissioner Roberts submitted corrected wording for her proposed Vision Statement <br />as quoted on page 4. She noted that Council had changed, and then eliminated it_ <br />"Pleasanton is awell-planned, well-rounded community o£ desirable <br />neighborhoods, an award-winning Downtown, a varied economic based, and a <br />variety of community £acilities_ As we approach buildout in the next few years, <br />we hope to maintain these desirable qualities by developing a safe, convenient <br />and uncongested circulation system; by providing more recreational and cultural <br />facilities and opportunities to participate £or our residents; and by preserving our <br />natural recommendation as well as our scenic resources- We want to maintain <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES May 1 ], 2005 Page 7 0£ 16 <br />
