The Commission discussed the different projects and listed the following projects as high <br />priority: <br />• Veterans Memorial Building <br />• Downtown Restrooms at Delucchi Park <br />• Downtown Parking lmprovements Including Improvements to the Alameda <br />County Transportation Corridor <br />• Happy Valley Bypass Road <br />• Aquatic Center Expansion -Phase II <br />• Sports Park: Renovation of Restroon~/Concession Stand (C'urrently LJnfunded~ <br />• Add a new project to irnplenient a wireless network to the Downtown <br />• Add anew project to consider acquiring the former Kolln Fl ardware store if the <br />current owner is not moving forward with building renovation and alternative use <br />Mr. O'Callaghan indicated that the acquisition of the former Kolln Hardware Store; was <br />in progress. <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />"Just Tires" Si~na~e <br />C7on~missioner 131an k. advised that the entire window at "Just Tires" was covered with <br />signage_ I-Ie inquired whether the Code Enforcement Officer had visited the site- <br />Ms_ Decker advised that she would follow up on that issue- <br />Corrimissioner Maas inquired if the permitted time for these temporary signs has already <br />expired. <br />Motorcvcle Noise <br />Commissioner Blank advised that he received two phone calls from Pleasanton residents <br />regarding excessive motorcycle noise in the Downtown area and requested staff <br />assistance to address the matter. <br />Commissioner Fox concurred with Commissioner Blank's concerns about the rn otorcycle <br />noise in Uowntown_ <br />Housing Memorandum <br />Commissioner Roberts thanked staff for the housing memorandum and noted that it <br />would be a delicate matter. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES March 9, 2005 Yage 9 of 10 <br />
