Just Tires Commissioner Fox inquired whether the Code Enforcement Officer could perform a site visit on Just Tires; she believed that the signs on the window did not reflect the Planning Commission's vote to allow only two out of the three signs to be placed in the window and that there was excess sign coverage on the window. 8_ MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION a. Future Planning Calendar In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Blank regarding the Union Jack matter, Mr. Pavan replied that Leslie Mendez was the assigned plar~ner, and Lt_ Darrin Davis of the Police Department would be in attendance. He added that the City Attorney was invited to explore the issue and that they would try to come to a solution. In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Fox whether a list of diesel £uel tanks could be distributed to the Planning Commission prior to the staff report distribution so site visits could be made, Mr. Pavan noted that would be a considerable amount of work for City staff. Commissioner Blar~k inquired whether Commissioners living within the boundary of Kottinger Hills should recuse themselves from the Joint City Council/Planning Commission Work Session on February 8, 2005. Actions of the Zoning Administrator There were none. 9_ COMMUNICATIONS Mr. Pavan apologized to the Commission with respect to the information he provided regarding the Byrd building and noted that he had misidentiF ed the floor plans. Mr_ Pavan advised that new City's new Principal Plai~t~er, Donna Decker, would commence work on January 27, 2005.
