Commissioner Blax~k expressed concern that food should be available during the hours <br />when alcohol is served~ <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED~ <br />A gentleman representing the applicant noted that a full menu would be available until <br />2:00 a.m_ He noted that alcohol was already served at his San Ramon location until <br />2:00 a.m_ but not at the taqueria in Pleasanton~ <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED~ <br />Commissioner Maas moved to make the conditional use permit findings as listed in <br />the staff report and to approve PCUP-132 as conditioned in the staff report~ <br />Commissioner Roberts seconded the motion~ <br />Commissioner Blank proposed amending the motion to modify Condition No 5 to state <br />that no loud music will be played aRer midnight; low-level music would be acceptable~ <br />The motion was amended as proposed- <br />ROLL CALL VOTE. <br />AYES: Commissioners Blank, Fox, Maas, and Roberts_ <br />- NOES: None_ <br />ABSTAIN: None_ <br />RECUSED: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Arlcin/ - <br />Resolution No_ PC-2005-OS was entered and adopted as motioned. <br />7_ MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />a_ Discussion on Temuorary and Permanent Window Si~na~e <br />This item was continued to the meeting of February 9, 2005 _ <br />Land Use Designation <br />Commissioner Fox advised that she discussed the issue of Vervais Park with <br />Commissioner Arkin as well as with nearby residents to understand what happetted with <br />the project- She distributed a summary of the project and noted that it had been referred <br />to by different names. She noted that the Parks and Recreation Commission only <br />reviewed land use designation changes for the Veteran's Building and the museum; she <br />noted that the minutes reflect that in the Parks and Recreation Commission special <br />meeting on the Downtown Specific Plan_ It appeared that the Planning Commission <br />meetings regarding the Downtown Specific Plan and the City Council meeting minutes <br />do not reflect references to private property discussed being given parkland use <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES January 26, 2005 Page 14 of 7.7 <br />
