<br />9. The Planning Department shall conduct a public review process with notification <br />provided to the neighborhood to enable staff to review the large family daycare <br />facility after 12 months of operation to determine compliance with the conditions <br />of approval. After conducting the review and receiving public input, the Planning <br />Director shall make a determination of compliance and may add or modify <br />conditions of approval if consensus for such changes is reached between the <br />daycare operator and the neighbors. If the Director determines that the facility is <br />not in compliance, or if there is not consensus regarding compliance or with <br />changes to the conditions of approval, the use permit shall be referred to the <br />Planning Commission for review. <br /> <br />10. The City's Traffic Committee shall work with the Valencia neighborhood in an <br />effort to promote traffic safety and provide traffic calming measures. <br /> <br />II. The Police Department shall work with the Valencia Homeowners Association <br />regarding the issue of traffic enforcement on the neighborhood private streets. <br /> <br />Parkin!! <br /> <br />12. The applicant shall make the garage available at all times to park two cars, and all <br />automobiles owned or operated by the applicant or other tenants living at the <br />property shall be parked in the garage or on the street (directly in front of the <br />subject home) during the hours of operation of the daycare. The driveway shall be <br />made available for drop-off/pick-up of children at all times the facility is in <br />operation. <br /> <br />13. Prior to issuance of a business license, the applicant shall prepare a flyer to be <br />approved by the Planning Department for the distribution to all existing and future <br />clients and employees. The flyer shall state: <br />. Daycare patrons shall use the driveway of the project site for parking (loading <br />and unloading of children) at all times. Curb parking for patrons is prohibited. <br />. Daycare employees shall use the garage or the on-street parking spaces directly <br />in front of the daycare home. <br />. Daycare patrons and employees shall drive safely and follow all traffic <br />regulations on Genovesio Drive and the surrounding neighborhood, and shall <br />be mindful of adjacent property owners' concerns when driving to and from <br />the site, including but not limited to the posted 15 mile per hour speed limit. <br /> <br />2 <br />
