CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 97-51 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF STEPHEN CHAMBERLIN ASSOCIATES/FEDERAL EXPRESS FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR A WAREHOUSE/OFFICE BUILDING AND A VEHICLE MAINTENANCE BUILDING ON 5.58 ACRES LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 1-680 AND STONERIDGE DRIVE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-97-02 WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 20, 1997, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for the application of Stephen Charnberlin Associates/ Federal Express for Planned Unit Development plan to construct a one-story, approximately 90,163 sq. fL warehouse/office building and an approximately 3,449 sq. ft. vehicle maintenance building to be utilized for Federal Express mail sorting and dislxibution operations; the project site is an approximately 5.58 acre parcel generally located at the northeast comer of 1-680 and Stoneridge Drive; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated February 6, 1997, and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed PUD plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council f'mds that the proposed PUD plan would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife;
