CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97-51 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF <br /> STEPHEN CHAMBERLIN ASSOCIATES/FEDERAL <br /> EXPRESS FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR A <br /> WAREHOUSE/OFFICE BUILDING AND A VEHICLE <br /> MAINTENANCE BUILDING ON 5.58 ACRES <br /> LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 1-680 <br /> AND STONERIDGE DRIVE, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-97-02 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 20, 1997, the City Council received a proposed <br /> negative declaration for the application of Stephen Charnberlin Associates/ <br /> Federal Express for Planned Unit Development plan to construct a <br /> one-story, approximately 90,163 sq. fL warehouse/office building and an <br /> approximately 3,449 sq. ft. vehicle maintenance building to be utilized for <br /> Federal Express mail sorting and dislxibution operations; the project site is <br /> an approximately 5.58 acre parcel generally located at the northeast comer <br /> of 1-680 and Stoneridge Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br /> February 6, 1997, and received the recommendations of the staff and <br /> Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held at which time the public was given <br /> the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br /> PUD plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br /> applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council f'mds that the proposed PUD plan would not have any <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no <br /> potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; <br /> <br /> <br />
