The cabinet shop would be subject to the regulations of the City Building and Fire Codas, no construction activities would take place outside of the tenant suite, and all doors must remain closed when machinery is in use. Therefore, this second finding can be made- 3. "I'he proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions o£ Chapter 7 8. 7 24 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. Chapter 1 8.124 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code states that because of their unusual characteristics, conditional uses require special consideration so that they may be located properly with respect to their effects on surrounding properties. The recommended conditions of approval for this project will help to integrate the proposed use without detrimentally affecting the s~u'rounding propcrti es and the City in general. As with any use permit, this use can be suspended or revoked if the conditions are not met. "Therefore, this third finding can be made. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed conditional use would be compatible with the existing uses in the area. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANN1NCi COMMISSION OF "THE CITY OF PLEA SANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1 . Approves Case PCUP-1 44, the application of Donald Carter/Golden State Cabinetry for conditional use permit to allow a 3,450-square-foot cabinetry shop in the Valley Business Park PUD located at 7.065 Serpentine Lane, Suite 300, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by re ference_ Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that time.
