PC=-2005-29 <br />KESOLLITION APPROVING THE AYYLICATION OF DONALD CAR"I'ER/ <br />GOLDEN STATE CABINETRY FOR C=ONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE YCUP-144 <br />WHEREAS, Donald Carter/Golden State Cabinetry has applied for conditional use permit to <br />allow a 3,450-square-foot cabinetry shop in the Valley Business Park PUD <br />located at ] 065 Serpentine Lane, Suite 300; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-1 (Planned Unit Development - Industrial <br />District; and <br />WI IEREA S, at its duly noticed public hearing of June 22, 2005, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt trorn the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA~; and <br />WHEREAS, the Platming Commission made the following i3n dings: <br />The proposed location of the conditional use is in accordance with the <br />o hjcetives oCthe zoning ordinance and the purpose of the district in which <br />the site is located- <br />"1"he subject site is located in a YUD-7 District, which is intended to provide sites <br />for light industrial uses, including manufacturing, industries engaged in <br />construction and building trades, neighborhood and support commercial uses, and <br />ofF ca uses- C iven the small scale of the operation attd its locatiott bordering the <br />railroad track, the proposed use would be compatible with surrounding uses- <br />Therefore, this first i3nding can be n-tade_ <br />
