EXHIBIT B CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL PDR-427, Christine Truesdale, for W_A_ Craig- , Inc_ 5675 Sunol Boulevard February 9, 2005 1 _ The fuel tank and landscaping project shall be substantially as shown on the plans and written materials, Exhibit A, dated "Received November 24, 2004", except as modified by the following conditions. Minor changes to the plans may be allowed subject to the approval of the Planning Director if found to be in substantial conformance to the approved exhibits. 2. The applicant shall install a second row of bollards around the storage tank covered by this approval, spaced five to six feet from the first row of bollards, and arranged in a staggered pattern relative to the bollard spacing of the £rst row. I"his detail shall be shown on the building permit plan set to the satisfaction of the Planning Director, Fire Marshal, and Chief Building Official before issuance of a building permit 3 _ The applicant shall work with the appropriate city departments to design, install, and operate a leak alarm notification system for the fuel tank covered by this approval. The details of the alarm notification system shall be shown on the building permit plan set to the satisfaction of the Planning Director, Fire Marshal, and Chief Building Oft3 ci al before issuance of a building permit. 4. The fuel tank shall only be used to fuel vehicles and equipment owned or leased by the company at 5675 Sunol Boulevard. 5. As part of the project, the applicant shall update its Hazardous Materials Business Plan for 5675 Sunol Boulevard, unless waived by the Fire Department. The updated plan is subject to the review and approval of the Fire Department~ 6. The fuel tank shall be painted brown. Prior to the issuance of a building permit, the applicant shall submit color samples to the Planning Department. The color of the fuel tank shall be subject to the review and approval of the Planning Director, prior to the issuance of a building permit. 7_ Prior to the issuance-. ofa building permit, the applicant shall revise the plates and show the future trail on the west side of the property. 8. Prior to the issuance of a building permit, the applicant shall submit a lighting plan for the fuel tank area- If lighting is proposed, it shall be a cut-otf style design to minimize light pollution and shielded so as not to shine on neighboring properties- If lighting is proposed, it shall be on a timer, motion sensor, or other device that will shut the lights off when the fuel tank is not being used. The proposed type of device and when it shall shut off the lights shall be written on the plans submitted for the issuance of a building perrttit_
