<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-004 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF L YNDEN HOMES FOR REZONING, PUD DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN, AND DEVELOPMENT DESIGN GUIDELINES, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PUD-38 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 17, 2006, the City Council received a proposed Negative <br />Declaration for the application of Lynden Homes for rezoning of two existing <br />parcels totaling approximately 4.19 acres from Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br />and Agriculture (A) District to Planned Unit Development - Medium Density <br />Residential (PUD-MDR) District; for PUD development plan approval for <br />11 buildable parcels and two remainder parcels ranging from 10,000 square feet to <br />13,000 square feet; and for Development Design Guidelines for a single-family <br />detached residential development at 1635 and 1777 Rose Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated July 5, 2005, and <br />received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 17, 2006, at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the <br />proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for <br />adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br />
