<br />limited to, City eight-hundred megahertz (800 MHz) trunked radio, Livermore- <br />Pleasanton Fire Services radio, Alameda County eight-hundred megahertz (800 <br />MHz) trunked radio, CLEMARlPolice Dispatch, and the current police mobile data <br />system, unless waived by the Police Department, City of Pleasanton. Expert <br />opinions may be required in anticipation of communications difficulties inside or <br />around large structures. Mitigation plans of less than acceptable communications <br />shall be submitted to the satisfaction of the Police Department prior to approval <br />and shall be financed by the applicant immediately upon approval. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />59. The buildings shall be equipped with automatic fire suppression systems <br />(sprinklers) as required by the Fire Department. <br /> <br />60. The applicant shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly <br />visible from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night-time <br />hours. <br /> <br />61. The applicant shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code, Chapter 20.24). <br /> <br />62. The applicant shall keep the site free of fire hazards from the start of lumber <br />construction until the final inspection. <br /> <br />63. Prior to any construction framing, the applicant shall provide adequate fire <br />protection facilities, including, but not limited to, surface roads, fire hydrants, and <br />a water supply and water flow in conformance to the City's Fire Department <br />Standards able to suppress a major fire. When alternate methods of fire protection <br />are approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or modified. <br />Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted in writing to the <br />Fire Chief prior to any framing construction. Work on the alternative fire <br />protection methods shall not begin until approved by the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />64. The Fire Chief and the City Engineer shall approve the number, type, and location <br />of all public fire hydrants. <br /> <br />65. Blue street "hydrant markers" shall be installed for all fire hydrants per City of <br />Pleasanton Standard Specifications. <br /> <br />66. At the time of sale, the applicant shall give homeowners notice of the availability <br />of the City's Fire Safety Inspection Program and shall encourage their <br />participation in this program. <br /> <br />10 <br />
