TASK:

TASK:

TASK:

Santa Rita Control Valve Station: As part of the Pim1ico project's preliminary
design it was determined that additional operation and control features were
necessary at the Santa Rita Control Valve Station to meet the operational
needs of the water utility department. The proposed design provides for the
valves remote operation, the valve's motorized operation, and integrating the
motorized valve's operation into the City's SCADA system. The design
includes the selection of the site location, valve, motorized controls,
appurtenant piping and fixtures, vault design and integration of the valves
operational parameters into the City's existing SCADA system to meet the
operational objectives of the existing water system.

Pimlico Turnout and Water Transmission Pipeline (elP No. 011012)

$11,200.00

Pipeline Cathodic Protection: As a result of the soil investigation along the
water pipeline alignments for both Pim1ico and Stoneridge project it was
determined that the soil conditions possesses corrosive properties. Therefore,
this task provides for the design of the galvanic anode cathodic protection
system to protect the ductile iron piping against corrosion.

Stoneridge Water Transmission Pipeline (elP No. 031016)
Pimlico Turnout and Water Transmission Pipeline (elP No. 011012)

$4,792.00
$9,872.00

Site Relocation ofPimlico Water Turnout Station: During the preliminary site
investigation for the turnout station it was determined that site had utility
conflicts that would require underground utilities to be relocated. However,
one of the utilities included a PG&E high pressure gas main. Given the
potential cost impacts to relocate the line and potential project delays an
alternative location was chosen across the street in the landscape area between
Pim1ico roadway curb and the soundwall along the 1-680 freeway. This site
avoids any major utility relocations but will require further topographic
mapping and changes in the existing roadway geometry to accommodate the
building footprint for the turnout station. This task includes additional
topographic survey, additional design for roadway modifications and
necessary sitework design for the turnout station at this location.

Pimlico Turnout and Water Transmission Pipeline (el? No. 011012)

$12,255.00

2
